I know its hard to understand but let me explain it to you as simply as I can.

GLE is a joint venture between Cameco and Silex that has been granted a worldwide licence by Silex to commercialise the silex technology for the production of natural grade uranium from tails and for the enrichment of uranium only.

The premises and equipment at the sites in Wilmington and Paducah will be owned, rented and paid for by GLE just as the staff that work there are paid for by GLE, not Silex; hence the reason why Silex and Cameco are sharing the funding of these costs incurred by GLE until it begins generating revenues and profits for the JV partners.

Silex owns the silex technology and can exploit it for other purposes such as for the production of medical isotopes or zero spin silicon.

Now ask yourself why Silex would want to gift its JV partner Cameco any rights to commercialise the silex technology for medical ispotopes or zero spin silicon when it could commerciliase that itself or with another partner on more favourable terms. Granting GLE the rights to commercilaise silex for the production of medical isotopes and zero spin is gifting Cameco a 49% interest in these projects and the value of them which they have not paid for or contributed to.
