China's moderated nuclear target from the 2011 CNEA target was 15% of their total electricity generation, by 2035.
Having failed this downgraded target by 2020, in 2023 the target for 2035 was again downgraded to 10%.
Under the new plans, by 2035 combined solar, wind and nuclear generation is likely to match coal generation with solar and wind
contributing around 85% (leaving 15% from nuclear) of this low emission generation.
