    I think half the problem with fukushima is the fact that most of what needs cleaning up is still underwater and too hot for anyone to reach.

    The added fear is that another wave (as was the issue a couple of months back) might start washing nuclear material into the sea - some radiation rise has already been detected in the ocean as far away as here in Australia. They still cannot tell if the reactor melted down or not or of the containment drywell held.
