emissions /person is very misleading. Highest e/p is Qatar but their population is low so it means little. Because the land is a CO2 sink , emissions/land area is more meaningful. Because Aust has big area and few people we are in credit on global basis - ie we are already at net zero. Plimer makes this point but no-one listens to the people that know. They would rather listen to those great sages - Thunberg, Gore and Flannery and now - Bowen.
