Watch from 4 mins onward, the Chinese Gov wrongly interpreted a US attack (by the naval exercises in the South China Sea). That is what the US military do every year, and it causes a lot of tension.

Finally, the Chinese military DOES NOT do naval exercises near the US or Australia.
