IMO our biggest external threat is a China backed Indonesia.
Indonesia's GDP will be twice ours within 20 years at the current rate
of both countries' growth & lets face it, Indonesia at present is overpopulated
and it has traditional claims to Northern Aus for centuries.
IMO , if China wants to have a go at Aus it will be via an Indonesian proxy, IMO.
China has been consistently investing in Indonesia while the opposite has been
happening in Aus since he Trump era:
