There is no question nuclear subs are required by Australia,just like all other major militaries that continue the construction of them and ordering of them. What annoys me is when real experts start to give their opinions and imo only its just common sense. First i did wonder why the UK was included it just compicates the development. But just one common sense suggestion so far and imo i agree why not just buy the first US sub from the US delivery late 2020,s while continuing to build the construction facility.. That way the navy gets to play with one and learn about its operations. Like we did with German military vehicles send Australian technicians and engiheers to the US to learn about the construction process,we could always supply the steel for the sub like we did the first lot of German made boxers. Who do these govts listen to.
