It seems the obvious choice Lappie. It's available now and there's plenty of it, and it burns far cleaner than coal. The cost of converting the coal power stations to gas shouldn't be prohibitive. Lowering the price for local use will be the strategy I'd assume.
Having a Fed Govt friendly state will also help, and we already know NSW don't want to know about nukes, neither does N.T. Someone should tell the Dud.
