The Australian’s Environment Editor Graham Lloyd says “morethought” should have been given to the “roll out” of green energy.
TheAEMO has announced delays to green projects and the closure of traditionalpower sources could mean power shortages across the country.
Thereis concern about the roll out of the energy transmission, particularly fromregional Australia.
“Thisis the lesson from the roll out that perhaps a lot more thought should havebeen given to at the beginning,” Mr Lloyd told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“People are generally hostile to the industrialisation of ruralcommunities and areas that by and large people waned to live in peace.
“Asthe AEMO report shows, this is critical to what has been promised andeventually something is going to have to give.”
