Disposal is easy. No need to face palm if you leave you bias aside. You may have heard of Olympic Dam where we mine uranium. It has almost 900 km of underground tunnels and built at depths of up to 860m. Just take the waste back to where it came from and securely bury it. Other countries manage it. Not rocket science.
