re: nuclear to fuel hydrogen economy idiotic ! massive technology investment (well the USA wont except califonia) but the rest of the world pooling their knowhow and resources + some computing power similar to seti@home to calculate high energy research could do the trick.

You dont hear much mainstream news in a world obsessed with oil. But it is on the increase - hydrogen efficency is now up to 38.5% in the latest technology up from 20% efficency to usage from production in the year 2000- give another 10 years and efficency conversion should be 60-70% making it much more cost competitve esp with oil and gas prices rising
