Mmmm i was thinking perhaps that nuclear might be damaging as its being rushed and this the blend is being lost. But it's been so poorly thought through and presented by politicians and no experts it's now for labor to lose the next election. Yes nuclear is a long term option in my view but to present it as a solution for 2050 is naive. Without expertise here across regulation, the build, waste and so on it will take us many years just to become knowledgeable enough to plan. Foolhardy to see this as the fix now.
Blend gas with batteries and renewables - see Beetaloo by TBN as a real option and phase out coal to that blend over time.
Anyway there will be many opinions.
