Yep, non-issue for the media and SJW...social justice warriors from SMSL. The most I've seen is Yeo saying several times "the government said/decided/is confident...blah-blah" regarding a solar project (link below). If you bother to read the link please take note the Minister wants "best price" from contractors meaning she of the thinking she'll get the same quality of service from all competing service providers and we know where this goes.

"Ownership can be [up to] 49% foreign, but the contractor for engineering, construction and commissioning must be 100% local as there are enough competitive local players in Malaysia, who however may not have enough financial muscles. We do not limit procurement because we want the best price," Yeo said at a press conference here today on the LSS3 scheme bidding process.

Why does she even need to consider foreign contractors? Because her own local contractors "may not have enough financial muscles". Talk about greediness she thinks someone with financial muscle will give away their strength and power out of the kindness of their heart. Go figure.
