nugget size

The photos of the copper nuggets in today's announcement were photographed with a 10c piece. Just for everyones information the 10c piece is approximately the same size of the holes in the bottom of the drill bit from the RC drill rig that delivers the product being drilled. One does not need to be a rocket scientist to deduct that none of the nuggets photographed in the announcement will go up through the two holes in the bottom of the drill bit. In fact they would probably block the holes and stop smaller nuggets going up. The RC drill bit is about 5" in diameter and the air from the compressor blows this massive amount of air down the rods that make the hammer work that has the drill bit attached. When the compressed air , (2,000 cfm and around 1200psi) gets to the drill bit it blows the air in vents in the drill bit. The hammer pulverised the rock. In the case of Las Minerale in the native copper areas the rock is a decomposed dolerite which is now in a clay form. The nuggets therefore cannot be broken up. The air being blown down the side vents on the drill bit has nowhere to go in the confined area and anything that is pulverised has no where to go but up the two small holes in the drill bit which are about the size off the ten cent piece shown in the photos in the announcement today. What i can deduct is that it is impossible for larger nuggets to go up through the holes in the drill bit and to the surface for sampling.
That would suggest that there is a lot more copper in the ground that is recorded and used for the JORC.

The bulk sample of the las minerale recently that was announced to the market returned 4.37%Copper. The JORC says 1.24% Copper Equivalent which included cobalt and gold. The Bulk sample which mirrors what will be actually mined is 4.37% Copper, not Copper Equivalent. so if the Cobalt and the Gold was added it probably would have been closer to 6% Copper Equivalent.
