Sure did...but only after a 1750 point drop on the Dow. Plenty of far maturer stocks dropped to 52 week lows as well.
All comparative though Key...but we were only .001 down on our previous 52 week low...no?...and only for a handful of shares. So don't see it undermines my oruginal premises.
Again...on my watchlists we did fine.
Further good news is that Dow is going up as I type hit 350+ but retracing...see what it finishes at.
The little box at the bottom says a close yesterday of +9.43% but our high was a good few more % than that.
Market remains volatile but I'm leaning towards the view that the correction was a hiccup and I'm taking a market bull position until I get convinced otherwise.
That doesn't mean I'm right of course. Plenty see it o'wise. But on the macro I'm bull on the the US fundamentals (seriously never thought I'd ever type those words) and that is usually the exact opposite of my usual view. I think Trump is a maniac and once he leaves it might well all unravel...but that's away away. And as per his last tweet...The stock market made a 'big mistake' by falling after so much 'good news' about the economy. Basically Trump's been in 14 months and the markets been flying...the 10% fast correction...think spooked many...but currently thinking overall the trend is your friend...but like many will wait for further confirmation before getting active again.
Not at all convinced that inflation is a true threat in 2018 and when it comes actual crunch time on those "expected" rate hikes the Fed is going to go all doveish especially with the new Fed Chair...just like 2017.
One way or the other...not going to stop consumer spending on our product and that's all that counts for the purpose of this discussion.
