Interesting research on tripling Li battery cycle via what appears simple chemical process. Potentially takes full streaming capacity of wifi buds to 15 hours on sigle charge. In context of article refers to car batteries but process appears iniversal to the battery industry. This is different to the "solid state" battery developments being reported which talk about increasing battery power density 2.5x.

Be interesting if both processes can be combined. Seems they have individual benefits vis power duration (tech in article below far as I can discern) and power density ("solid state"...with almost instant charge times).

Interesting to see where all this battery tech takes us over next few years.
