One thing is for sure, at the level HP plays at they don't want any possibility of a stuff up on this deal. So they would have had a very good look at Nuheara, the board and management, the engineering capability including current products, current financial state of the company, etc.

You can bet there will be copious conference calls on a variety of subjects ongoing all the way through this and into the future. As well as supplying the HP buds, Nuheara will be learning a lot about how HP works and what the future possibilities are. If there is a cashflow problem I'm sure HP will give plenty of advice and support to get around it.
