The strong force has been the Shorted stock overhang - 100% imo.
Sure all will be revealed this time next week on outstanding Total shares shorted.
It may be very possible that some of todays 300k and or 500k parcels of shares brought, could be the shorters covering. Only just a guess though.

The buying Volume over the past 3 days for instance, has far outweighed the last and 2nd big retrace in Mid June (approx. the 15th) 2016, then it started to breakout in very Low Volume compared to the past 3 days trade as stated, as back then last year, it took almost 1 month for Volume to pick up around 10th July.
And as I stated last week, the Longer the consolidation the bigger the BREAKOUT, this is being confirmed in this current trading cycle with Solidly backed and buying Volume.
