Probably not, and for the same reason I passed up a free pair of Boosts - I don't have any hearing issues. (I have however two sets of original IQBuds btw).

$500 (or even $400 at the early-bird special) doesn't seem like a reasonable value proposition just to use these as a set of ANC buds for music / podcasts etc when out and about. That's just my opinion of course.

By the way, did anyone actually make the claim that the IQBuds2 didn't exist at CES? This point keeps getting raised and seems like a *** argument. What myself and others wanted to see was the new buds being demonstrated at CES and a few reviews in the pipeline (not everyone likes to make a pre-purchase on a new product that has no reviews yet).
