I would think that the OTC hearing aids are building up. You can see that the different operators start to get their ducks aligned. Did anyone put forward this before https://www.bose.com/en_us/products/headphones/earbuds/soundcontrol-hearing-aids.html#v=soundcontrol_hearing_aids_gray. You can buy a bose hearing aid. No audio streaming but you can self fit your hearing I cannot find any details on how the self-fitting is done. It seems to be a cheaper version of the EARGO concept with a great brand name.
