Weds close on ASX was 7c - a solitary trade gapped it up at the end of the PM auction, despite the remaining bid/offer showing 6.8/6.9 - so a 6.9 close last night is correctly showing red - that was ASX

to further complicate it, Chi-X closed at 6.8 on Weds, which is confirmed by the 0% change shown over on the right above the graph on this page for the Chi-X last price and close yesterday (using presumably HC's own feed for Chi-X trades) - however, if you look on the Chi-X data itself, there was one of those strange middle of the night xtrades done @ 7, which is then later shown as the previous day (Weds) closing price, hence the 6.8c closing price on Chi-X last night is now shown on Chi-X data as a 2-pip drop into the red on close (from previous close) here is the SNM feed from last night:



all a bit confusing - it's only pips I know, but supposedly has some effect on charts depending upon where the (charting) data is sourced...
