Yes, the old way generates better revenue number.
They have unbreakable multi year deal contract which they use to book full amount into current FY.
Now if clients are switching to consumption, it is no longer the case, thus the downgrade. The consumption revenue will only be realised over a period of time based on how much data used which is almost nothing (1-2 months worth of data usage) in current FY.
