Nuix's CFO, Chad Barton who was the CFO of Star City from 2014 to 2019 is referred to in the report. Perplexingly, Barton wasn't called to give evidence in the inquiry despite references to his conduct such as this:
Industrial scale money laundering has occurred at Star under Mr Barton's watch. He is now the CFO of scandal plagued Nuix which has its own issues with insider trading, fraud and tax avoidance to name the least.
