I think all is not lost on NXL. About 13% share changed hands over the past a few days. Not much considering the big shot investment banks holding 50% and MQG another 30%. I wouldn’t be surprised if MQG has offloaded some shares for quick bucks after all the SP was lofty and way ahead of itself. Don’t think the big names are dumping the stock at least not 3 month into the IPO and at a price hovering around IPO entry. NXL has been and will remain a intuition stock that will give retail investors a nice hair cut every now and then. However the big names are not there just to be a barber for the retail investors , they’re here for something much bigger. They’ve seen the prospectus and know the business better than most . Is a mere 4% miss of profit guide spells the end of the business ? Current SP is now interesting considering you’re now on a level footing with the big shots , isn’t that exciting?
