but this is the major point --------- that nuclear - CANNOT take up the slack
by the time nuclear would come on stream - EVEN if on time - which is impossible

that's correct - he won't go near - how long and HOW - he won't come within a bargepoles length of that issue
the timing issue comes from who can build it ------ and the ONLY possibilities there even remotely in the time period involve bringing in pretty much ALL of the workforce -
from Russia or SK ----------- BUT the great Duddo ALSO says he's going to cut immigration
AND also - - build a nuclear submarine fleet - all at the same time
