Hello Bob, I think you echo the sentiments of many. Would this have happened if we had had a high quality independant chairman? I doubt it, the BOD would have had to justify their decision to go to Malaysia and show appropriate due diligence. If this is the case then the part time Chairman and part time CEO, Nick Curtis, must accept full responsibility for the Maylaysia fiasco. The sooner LYC behaves like a BHP or CBA (and most other respected listed companies on the ASX), with and indendant high quality Chairman, the better.
