I think you are right. I overlooked the word hypothesis.
You are right, I meant zero-sum in game theory.
I am also familiar with null hypothesis. It is the assumption that some action (choise) will not have any effect on the current probability distributions.
But he did not mean any of these. What he meant is that he assumes zero postings on HC will cause the SP to rise.
