Appreciate your good work in promoting POD. I am in HC for learning and am happy to sh*t on my stocks if i end up learning something from the community. Anyway...
Why would they mention capex issues or any issues at all? They have every incentive to up ramp POD. Its 78% of their holding.
The chance that either Chesapeake Capital or Canaccord funded the Breakaway Research report is very likley imo. It would be foolish to think that an analyst report is unbiased without an agenda (either up ramping or downramping).
The chance that Chesapeake Capital and Canaccord take massive profits at half this $1.5 price target is more than likely imo. As they hold less than 5% of POD shares their selling would not have to be reportable. So why not.
Even if CAPEX ends up being $1bilion+, POD and Chesapeake will sell this a "low capex" PGM project. So it would never be mentioned as an issue.
Checkout out the Non-executive director at Chesapeake (see below image). I would say some games will and have been played during CR. I recall reading some old HC POD posts about Canaccord selling massive following CR.
