Good read Duty, for me the main weakness in the trucks and car is the power unit, Lithium ion battery, my thoughts are the lithium titanate battery is needed for both but even more so with trucks due to the very high annual mileage.
They need a battery that can be worked very hard with no overheat issues and one that can be charged discharged many more times than a lithium ion, and charged to 80% capacity in six minuets, the titanate anode battery or similar is the one trucks will need they are worked very hard and cover millions of miles in truck lifetime, crack the battery tech and you’ve got a truck worth buying, likewise a car, but that only my thoughts and why I shan’t consider switching car to electric just yet, but that tech and day is coming, Loop.
