Hi I am sure you will find that the "issue price" is only relevant for two reasons and this is why the ASX requires one. One is it gives NewPower an initial market cap and share price and two it is the "fair value" as worked out by the people who do these things. After the first day of trading the issue price means nothing as the only way to get shares is to buy them on market as you can't subscribe for them like an IPO. I would be quite happy to hear other reasons and relevance.
