Religion by definition has to transcend logic.

And that's why those who find "holes" very often opt out. But many others look up refernces which expalin things that otherwise might be treated as nonsence.

I believe, because without a belief, the raison d'etra for beinh here taling up space on this planet makes no sense.

If I were not a believer I would most probably have led ahedonistic life, enjoyed all the good things that "matyred Arabs just die for, (I just thought of that line) right here, until I would have dropped and then done myself in when I could not enjoy anymore.

I mean if we are not answerable to any higher being in an after life and I don't hurt anybody in this life, then what's wrong with my rationale?

But that's where religion comes in.

I don't expect anybody to believe what I believe and in fact they can do what they want. But if I am dealing with a believer who uses the same original texts as I do, where things are said in black and white, how can we talk to one another when I say something is white and he always says the same thing is black?

I understand and appreciate where non believers come from and good luck to them.

I believe in live and let live, but I won't agree to someone going into a Titles Office, sees that the title to a property is mine and then decides he wants it anyway and then re-write the title in a different language, then claim he still believes that the original title was ok to begin with but now it's his.

    You get the analogy?

That's the very essence of all the crap that is going on in Israel.

Yes, to you and other atheists, it's fighting over nothing but not to the believers.

Question is, why do some so called believers move the goal posts when it suits them?
