Is the HC interface getting more glitchy or what! Keeps crashing when trying to post from a phone (plus I have fat thumbs so forgive my typos and stupid autocorrect- now there’s a candidate for AI)

This is revolutionary in cutting down error rates and expediting processes. interestingly it is not reducing processes generally but actually increasing because compute can process more queries in a fraction of the time allowing more detailed and accurate assessments than otherwise would be viable using human horse power. We should assume that the modernisation of the FDA systems will have similar effect. Does this cut down red tape…. Nah, well maybe but let’s see. I am sceptical and not without personal understanding of implementation of AI into a huge engineering / presales / sales/ finance/ assurance capacities of a top tier company.

So what does this mean for business dealing with a more sophisticated regulator. I would absolutely expect more accurate scrutiny. Is that a good thing - absolutely for the patients. Is it a good thing for the companies- long term yes but short may hurt more.

One thing that will be interesting to see is if the regulators are prepared to allow a broader risk threshold to enable drugs like ours to move forward based on acceptable risk management. Something we think could have been applied here.
I would also say that applicants need to step up their game and be tight in what they submit. Ideally the regulator will afford tools to applicants to self assess in advance for best and final.
