I personally wouldn't write off market intel such as broker data as "mostly useless" if you're not able to interpret it. A very powerful tool if you know how to use it to your advantage and it's very generous of a few on here to share snapshots of it.

It is not about "pros winning and retails losing", it is about pros accumulating the available market free float and forcing price appreciation on a supply squeeze with buoyant demand. If you can see the signs, you can leverage their positions to your gain.

When you see almost every pro broker accumulate large positions in a spec stock over the last quarter such as NVA, it would be remiss not to leverage what they know if they have accepted the risk parameters of building a non speculative position in a high risk stock.
