Nice steady green rise overnight in the US to end over 30c but then some aftermarket dribble brought it back to land dead on 30c equivalent here.

Over 2 weeks since the announcement of the rights issue and we seem to have found good support around 30c despite some predicting the sp crashing down into the teens and we haven't had anymore announcements of note yet to give support either.
GK would know though that having the sp sit below the rights issue price would not be a recipe for the raising being a success and would have known that before starting this process - remember also this raising has not been underwritten.
The other scenario is that as some have said - they have no more announcements of note pending which would then mean they threw everything they had at the market before the raising was declared leaving them nothing for a month? - I can't personally see that scenario being the logical one especially with the amount of different activity at different levels with various partners etc they have on the go..
