I question Huang's statement. Indeed, if Nvidia has already;


> involving thousands of engineers
> distributing the chips to major cloud players and research institutes

Then one will has to ask why no cloud players or any other company released any statemens about this.

IMO, this is corporate propaganda. Really what is happening here is this, the CEO is just telling the market ‘we are still in this game’.

It looks like the P100 has very limited use…

Recall, BRN’s chip technology can be used for a broad suite of applications such as ; smartphones, robotics, prostheses (including ear & eyeimplants), toys, gaming, driverless vehicles, drones, and the exciting new sensor-related world of the 'Internet of Things'.

Doesn't look like Nvidia can match this and where is the evidence that Nvidia can deliver on the performance claimed?

Anyway, an interesting observation - Huang didn’t mentioned anything about patents, which is an interested space to watch out for….

Reality is, multiple competitors will emerge over time… BRN is well positioned with a much broader product offering (IMO). Let the battle begin.
