In launching the Nvidia Edge Impulse partnership this is what Deepu Talla Vice President and General Manager for Robotics and Edge Computing at Nvidia stated to EETimes:


“1. We realized AI is expanding into edge opportunities like IoT, where Nvidia doesn’t have silicon.

2. So we said, why not?” Deepu Talla, VP and GM for robotics and edge computing at Nvidia, told EE Times.

3. “We’re a platform, we have no problem enabling all of the ecosystem. [What we are able] to deploy on Nvidia Jetson, we can now deploy on a CPU, on an FPGA, on an accelerator—whatever custom accelerator you have—you can even deploy on a microcontroller.”

The ability to implement Nvidia Tao via Edge Impulse with AKIDA was confirmed by Sean Hehir CEO Brainchip a couple of months ago now.

Brainchip has engagements with a significant number of companies and institutions and I have the following on my watch list as a result of exposure via Brainchip or by the entities themselves. The disclosure by Accenture discovered today by preetmel is an example of an entity disclosure. I use this list for the purpose of my own ongoing research. I like other shareholders know no more than what is publicly available but sometimes this list permits me to discover other company engagements such as Ericsson developing the Zero Energy AKIDA camera prototype.
