edge impulse is a platform for designers to run their models… NVIDIA has now provided their TAO to the platform for designers to use their models… it is up to the designer to select akida as the SNN accelerator…
there are multiple options other then akida on the platform…
edge impulse is a one stop shop for designers to “test” different models, accelerators, hardware etc etc… the designers pay for this privilege.
if the designer likes the result akida offers over others say syntiant or renesas DRP, jetson etc etc they will then need to contact brainchip to purchase a license to design a custom SOC using akida IP.
