I think everyone forgets that Toyota is the biggest car manufacture in the world. The strange thing is i have a feeling the price would move more on an announcement with Tesla over one with Toyota even though Toyota makes about 9 million vehicles per year compared to the 365,000 Tesla made.
I am also shocked the price is not already higher to be honest.
Etherstack announced a deal with Samsung and the price went up over 2000%
Novonix already have a deal with Samsung albeit a small one at this stage (its a test). Battery technology has so many applications, nearly everything we use runs off batteries now, so i would not be holding all of my hopes on Tesla. The companies that makes the batteries for the car manufactures like Panasonic is where it's at.
