It fell back when Novonix announced they would stop developing their Natural Graphite deposit in Queensland and pivot towards the 10-20times more profitable Puregraphite processing factory and sponsorship of Dalhousie Uni’s Pr Mark Obrovac to invent new materials we are enjoying now. (DPMG and Single DPMG as well as Silicon Infused Graphite for longer range and lifespan, which is what Panasonic announced this week came out of Pr Obrovac’s lab) NVX Electrolytes have been invented by Dr Chris Burns and Dr David Stevens.
The original mining investors didn’t want to wait the 2 yrs for Novonix to get to the position it is in now, hence the sell down before the new instos jumped on board with the Single Crystal Cathode DPMG and DPMG breakthroughs.
Which reminds me, does anyone know if Novonix is going to sell Mt Dromedary or find a JV partner to start mining it?
I haven’t included any of the income from this Division in any of my calcs.
