It's fascinating for me to read all the comments on Hot Copper about our shares, by people who have all sorts of different investment goals and protocols. As near-retirees, we simply took advantage of the early 2020 COVID market drop and our unwavering belief in the fact that energy transition gives us an incomparable opportunity. We have chucked $150K in the last 18 months into TSLA, FUV, NVX, TLG and a couple of others in different industries (gotta have a BIT of diversity, right?) and already we're up to around $500K. This is a total set and forget strategy. Not selling anything for any reason. I know a lot of you guys do this for a living and you're really good at reading charts and how the market moves, but to try and pick the ups and downs IMHO is potentially a downside from just sitting on these shares that can only go one way over time, albeit with volatility. There are clowns out there still dissing EVs, doggedly ignoring what is staring them in the face. Battery technology seems to me to be an absolute no-brainer. I'm grateful to my spouse who has been pushing this agenda for years now and IMO his timeliness will change our future. DYOR.
