A strong breakout to the downside continues to gather momentum since Wednesday's disastrous day, where an attempt to push higher wasn't supported, and sold down, leaving a very bearish sentiment leading into Thursday. Selling continues in the US overnight, which is likely to break the support @ the $2.28 area. Next support area @ $2.09 and $1.73, with $1.73 looking more likely IMO.
The XIJ is also teetering on the brink of a further decline, led by the tech sell off on the NASDAQ, which continues to look unstable, definitely not helping things for the current NVX situation.
Without stating the obvious, there's a consistent lack of buyers atm, led by a decline in the whole sector (XIJ), and a rotation into other sectors (XHJ, XSJ, XDJ, XRJ), along with a reduction in higher risk plays by investors market wide.
A positive announcement is the only remedy to the current downtrend IMO. GLTAH
