Geez what a day - an unexpected one at that.
Day trading events:
- Started off on the sidelines with only 1/3rd bought in at 4.76 from about a week ago
- Was expecting it to hit a low of around 4.85 given the past few days so had my buy price set there
- Started heading north, I always set my buy price to limit slightly lower than current price to catch a fallback
- Had to keep going up with my limit and ended up in at 5.48. It only hit about 40% of my price before going up again.
- It was struggling to hit the day's high again so I decided to cancel my outstanding shares
- Luckily I did since it dropped back down. Picked up the rest of the outstanding packet and then some at 5.3 to average down
- Managed to get out again at 5.45 for a small profit.

Today was a completely unexpected day but from what we've seen the dips i) don't last long and ii) seem to stay above the previous 52 weeks' high.

The Sept/Oct effect doesn't seem to be having any negative effect, but it's still early Sept days.

This is certainly not a formula to follow and not advice.
