I pointed out that the Entitlement Offer was rather confusing:


And received the following response:

'These are the standard words recommended and my understanding is that it take time (up to a few days) for the share register record to be updated after buying a share.

If you have a way of buying and getting that reflected on the share register on same day then it may be possible, but I am not aware of how this can be done.'

I guess to be counted as an 'eligible shareholder' we had to be holding before NVX went into trading halt.
