Looking at NVX their corporate structure and debts were somewhat of a dogs breakfast, this is a clearing of the decks action which will enable and is essential for NVX to take on a big loan and a massive upgrade to their capacity. The existing market could easily swallow 75,000tonnes. So when we buy shares in a small cap what are we buying? A small piece of a gold bar: no, a small piece of real estate?: no or even a small piece of a dividend/profit :no. What we are buying is a small piece of potential and potential is a very nebulous thing. So the assumption that by doubling the number of shares you will halve the SP is logical but since when has the sharemarket ever been logical. There are a lot of wealthy cashed up sharks out there just waiting to gobble up your shares because they are buying potential that they can clearly see. So think twice about selling and buying back or vice versa . Rmember when there was just one seller the other day at 82c and then some capper came in and dumped 300,000 at 70c. Why would anybody do that when there is no volume for sale at a starting price of 82c, if they were genuine why not 80c. There are some big sharks out there so play with your blinkers off. A small point too, is that synthetic graphite is made from an oil product that is heated to 3,000 degrees in an anaerobic environment under strict physical conditions so there is no way little Billy Bob from the workshop behind the Deli can suddenly decide he wants to become a graphite producer.
