As per the AGM, the gas plant is described as 250TJ/day if export restrictions lifted, 30TJ/day otherwise. Production targeted by late 2025 but hasn't reached FID, will need environmental approval.

A company spokesperson called it a "successful exploration campaign" and provided the standard lines:
"Natural gas will be crucial to MinRes’ transition to lower emission, lower cost energy by reducing the dependency on diesel to power our operating sites”
“The proposed facility will also increase the supply of natural gas to the domestic market as WA transitions away from coal power generation."
“We will explore the potential to produce LNG for export, subject to revision of the WA Domestic Gas Policy by the State Government. This will determine the final production scale of the plant.”
