To his credit, Iain Smith promptly replied to my email requesting confirmation that despite their position, they continue to represent us:

"The NWE Board will of course continue to act in the best interests of shareholders, and in particular there will be no change to our commitment for continuous disclosure of price sensitive information".

He also stated that "Interestingly I have had various shareholders accusing us of (for example) withholding early processed 3D seismic data. This is simply nonsense as the recorded data resides on the receiver nodes and cannot be processed until the data is recovered at the end of the survey."
