From just looking at the ASIC short-selling report, I can’t see any meaningful buildup in new NWH shorts over the past few days. Therefore, I would imagine that the recent selloff has mostly been driven by profit taking and, with specific regard to today’s price action, perhaps by the triggering of stop-loss orders centred around the 50-day moving average (20.8c on my screen). To what extent such stop-loss selling is managed in an automated way, as opposed to manual, is beyond my capability of guessing; that said, it shouldn’t make too much of a difference. IMO+DYOR.
