Sadly the insto's have no choice but to get rid of NWS from their index funds - it is great buying but who knows/can guess where the bottom is until all the majors have done their thing.
The funds must feel like crap getting rid of a winner like this, and the various policy holders, superannuation investors are being hurt, but the brief of the index fund/s must be maintained or they can be found liable!!
No support level can be guaranteed, chartists can forget about trying to figure or predict this, the rule book has been thrown out and there is no precedent to look to for guidance.
So, do you sell anticipating more down to come or buy hoping the turnaround is near?
My personal opinion is to accummulate in small parcels and hold, alternately look for a few days of rises then jump on board solid.
NWS will be a good riser with very strong gains but not probable in the next 3 - 6 weeks, perhaps by April??
