5% of stocks traded yesterday are short positions.. I guess today / tomorrow will be some more before more institutions picking up the slack, then shorters to buy back their positions as well. We will then seeing a price jump.
Obviously this will determine by when institutions will step in to buy big on the stocks, otherwise shorters will just keep on shorting it.
Interestingly when the price was about $10 there was absolutely no short positions at all.
