I sent the company an e-mail, after watching the pre-open fiasco for about two weeks, expressing my concern as to what was happening and got a speedy response from their corporate affairs officer. I am familiar with obtaining share registers as i have done it once in the past myself. Yes also to the company getting the info from the registry (T+2) and identifying the party however, as @robbo24 mentioned in this post https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/53866624/single if the person responsible is trading under a custodian nominee, their identity needs to be discovered by other means.
